Team Gray-Withers has bowed out in the quarterfinals of the New Holland Canadian U21 Curling Championships.

Last night, the Alberta women's team, which includes Cochrane curler Zoe Cinnamon, lost 7-4 to the Deschenes rink of Ontario.

The team curled eight games in six days at the event hosted by Stratford, ON.

Yesterday, Alberta's Booth rink won 11-4 in their quarterfinal game against the Evans rink of New Brunswick to advance to a semifinal game this morning against Nova Scotia's Stevens team.

This is the first U21 nationals in two years. It features 18 men's and women's teams, the largest field ever. The winner will represent Canada at the World Juniors.

Play wraps up today.
