May 29, 1941 - May 3, 2022

A resident of Grassy Narrows, Ontario passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Kenora, Ontario with her girls by her side.

Ivy lived a good life, helping people when she was a nurse.  She enjoyed going to Bingo, being out on the lake, playing cards, reading books, attending Pow-wows and being with family and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother Mary Loon, her father Andrew Keewatin Sr., her brothers Gordie Sneaky, Henry Loon-Keewatin, her nephew Donny and her partner in crime Cecilia Beaver and best friend Madaline Ashopenace.

She is survived by her sister Sandra (Steve) Sneaky, brothers Andrew (Lorna) Keewatin, Larry (Ruthie) Keewatin Sr., Ivan Doull, David Sneaky and sister in law Shirley Keewatin.  She leaves behind to mourn her are her kiddo's, Kendra, Annie, Nora, Hazel, Daisy, Derek (Adriene), Greg, Todd, nieces Carla, Carolyn, Cayla, Victoria, Lameeka, Lucille and Amy, nephews Levi, Shawntel (Alex), Callahan (Niko), Vladimir (Winter), Henry, JJ, Virgil, Dean, Larry Jr., Dion (Jean) and Cody.  As well as her best friends Shannon Parmeter, Evelyn Pahpasay, Agnes Fisher and Maria Swain.  Ivy had so many friends and family that there are too many to mention that she'll be missed by.   

A Wake service for Ivy will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Trappers Building, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. A Funeral service will occur Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Trappers Building with cremation to follow.
