Kennedy Olivia Reynolds

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kennedy Reynolds on May 4, 2022 at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital at the age of 2. Kennedy passed peacefully in the arms of her parents; surrounded by love.

She is survived by her parents, Ben Reynolds and Whitney Roos, Grandparents John and Judy Roos and Therese Reynolds, Aunts Lindsay (Ryley) Williams, Avery (Jeff) Driedger, Erica Reynolds, Uncle Joel Reynolds (Stephanie Black), Cousins Emery, Brady and Charley Williams and Ari, Mavi and Nevyn Driedger.

Kennedy was born on March 14, 2020 in Kenora, ON and spent the first month of her life under the compassionate care of the St. Boniface NICU team. She enjoyed many playdates with her closest friends, Maeve, Auggie and Leo, and loved spending time with her older cousins. She attended childcare at Firefly Keewatin Public, where she made many more special friends. She loved songs, dancing, twirling, story time, hugs and kisses. She was happiest during her tummy snuggles with mom, bedtime with dad, and watching her favourite shows on YouTube.

Kennedy’s parents wish to send their most sincere gratitude to her grandparents, childcare staff, therapists, and countless healthcare staff who helped care for her with such kindness.

A private celebration of life will take place with those who knew Kennedy best. Donations in Kennedy’s honour can be made to the Ontario Foundation for Cerebral Palsy https://www.ofcp.ca/, the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba https://goodbear.ca/, and the St. Boniface Hospital “in support of NICU” https://stbhf.ca/.

Kennedy’s smile brought happiness to everyone who had the privilege of meeting her, and she taught us not to take anything in life for granted.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.brownfuneralhomekenora.com for the Reynolds family.
