Delays on Ninth Street North today, bus stops cancelled

Drivers in the City of Kenora can expect delays on Ninth Street North today, and transit riders are warned of schedule changes.

The city says Ninth Street North from Twelfth Avenue North to Thirteenth Avenue North will be closed to all traffic as of 9 a.m. today, as crews work to repair a water main. Motorists are asked to use alternate travel routes and to slow down and move over near working crews.

Due to the work, the city’s Transit Bus stops 7 through 14 on the Pinecrest Route will be out of service today. The closest alternative stops are Bus Stop 6 at Ninth Street North and Twelfth Avenue North, as well as Bus Stop 15 at Kirkpatrick Avenue and Peter Avenue.
