Portage la Prairie RCMP have arrested two youths after it was confirmed that they were breaching conditions.
Police say on June 1st, they received a call about a 14-year-old boy that was breaching conditions and had a warrant for his arrest. He was supposedly in a home in the 200 block of Victoria Avenue.
When police arrived they found and arrested the youth for his outstanding Warrant of Arrest and a new charge for failing to Comply with a Release Order. While they were at the home, they noticed a 16-year-old boy also was breaching conditions. He was placed under arrest and faces charges of failing to Comply with a Sentence Order, Failing to Comply with a Release Order, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Less than $5000.
Both youths appeared in court the day after.
