Brian J. Fetherston
Brian Fetherston of Kenora, Ont. passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital with family by his side. He was 67 years old.
Brian is lovingly remembered by his four siblings: Bob (May), Susan (Mike), Patty (Rob) and Garry (Gloria). He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews: Alexis, Troy, Amanda, Jamie, Gregory, Ryan and Jason. He was also a great uncle to 9 and a great great uncle to 1.
Brian was predeceased by his parents Mary (2019) and Bob (2004) Fetherston.
Brian was born in North Bay, Ont. but eventually made Kenora his home. He enjoyed a relaxed lifestyle in his home on Rabbit Lake and also spent many days touring the countryside on his Harley. The family cottage on Lake Nipissing was a special place for Brian and he spent many happy summer days there surrounded by loving family members. Giving young nieces and nephews motorcycle rides made him a very popular uncle! The yearly Labour Day family reunion at brother Bob’s home in Windsor was an event that Brian never missed. For most of his adult life Brian was a valued employee of Hydro One in Kenora, a job which he thoroughly enjoyed. For the past several months, Brian battled early dementia and the complications of heart disease. He was a loving, kind and generous man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The Fetherston family would like to thank the teams at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital for their excellent care and support of Brian.
A Celebration of Brian’s Life and a family graveside service will be held at a later date.
