Another community member has put their hat in the race for the title of Mayor of Kenora.
On July 18, Andy Scribilo, a familiar Kenora name, submitted his paperwork to secure his spot in the next Municipal election.
Scribilo is an active member of the community. Currently, he serves as President of the Kenora District Chamber of Commerce. As President, Scribilo has helped facilitate the launch of the Choose Local First! Campaign which encourages residents and visitors to shop local first.
He is also an active member of the Kenora Kinsmen.
Scribilo did not provide a candidate bio.
Cecile Marcino has also announced that she will be running for Kenora City Council.
Marcino has served on the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board for 20+ years, currently sitting as Chair of the Board.
