Last night in Days Inn slo-pitch action, it was Beauty Bay taking over DSmith A's 10-3 and Centuries pummelling Titan 25-6 on in the men's division.

On the women's side, DJ Services downed Bob's Burgers 38-21, Shear Heaven Clippers took the game 27-13 over WNHAC Wreckers and it was down to the wire, but CarStar Renegades fought back against KTown Kafe to ultimately win 17-15.

A rare doubleheader will kick off Week 7 of the C-F-L regular season tonight. The 3-and-1 B-C Lions, looking to rebound from their first loss of the season last week against the unbeaten Winnipeg Blue Bombers, host the 1-and-4 Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Vancouver, while the winless Ottawa Redblacks are hoping to snap their 0-and-5 skid against the visiting 1-and-4 Montreal Alouettes at TD Place Stadium. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit the Edmonton Elks tomorrow.

The Toronto Blue Jays get back to business tomorrow, opening an important three-game series at Boston's Fenway Park. The Jays are sitting third in the American League East with a 50-43 record and are two games ahead of the Red Sox and one-and-a-half games behind the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees leads the division by 13 games.
