Mckay Ave W sees road closure 

UPDATE:

The City announced that the road will be open tonight at 7 p.m. However, it will be closed again on Monday, July 25 due to sewer main repairs. They say the intention is to have the work done by the end of that day.

Original Story:

The City of Portage la Prairie is reporting that due to sewer main repairs today, July 22nd, McKay Avenue W from 16th Street NW to 17th Street NW will be closed as of 8 a.m.

The city notes that they Intend to have the road opened upon completion, which is scheduled for the end of the day.
