Byers-Kitt announces bid for Mayoral race

Two new candidates have submitted their names for the next municipal election, one in Dryden and one in Kenora.  

In Kenora, it was announced that David Byers-Kitt will be running for Office of the Mayor. 

Byers-Kitt will be running alongside Andrew Poirier and Andy Scribilo who are also running for the job.  

Jack B. Harrison officially submitted his name to be in the race for Dryden Mayor this fall, he is currently the only submitted name in the race.  

The incumbent Mayor of Dryden, Greg Wilson, has previously stated that he will not be running for re-election in the fall.  

The deadline for candidates to file their nomination papers is Friday, August 19, 2022, by 2:00 pm.  

Municipal elections will take place on October 24, 2022.
