Local pilots Roland Biber and Tim Treadway are back after placing third in the Air Venture Race in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It’s an annual air show and gathering of aviation fans held each summer. The two were the only Canadians in their division, finishing a nearly 700 km track in 3.5 hours.

Hockey Canada says it has paid out 7.6 million dollars in nine settlements from sexual assault and abuse claims since 1989. Another 12 claims that cost 1.3 million dollars were insured.
The organization has been under fire since it was revealed the money in its multi-million dollar National Equity Fund, which was reserved for uninsured payments, comes from player fees paid by hockey players and their families across the country.
