It was a very happy birthday weekend for Fresh IE as his latest project quickly shot up the music charts.
The Winnipeg rapper (AKA Robert Wilson) debuted Heart Breaks on Friday.
On Saturday he received one of the greatest birthday gifts possible as the album was quickly climbing on the Apple Music inspirational charts. It debuted at No. 21 on the charts. "Thank you all for the birthday love!!" he writes in an online post.
By Sunday it had reached No. 8, surrounded by the likes of Lauren Daigle at No. 4 and Chris Tomlin at No. 5.

Heart Breaks also features a number of other Made In Manitoba artists, including Scribe (who now calls Vancouver home), as well as singer Jayme Giesbrecht.
Fresh says he's been receiving a lot of positive feedback from fans in the past few days. That includes Nate Swerves who says "Heart Breaks is one of the best albums I've ever heard, truly. Amazing job! I low-key teared up listening to it."
"The album is about how God can heal us and bring restoration in our heartbreaks," Fresh says. "I've lost some really key people in my life over the last five years and it's been a climb getting out of the valley back to the mountaintop, where God wants me to be."
