Linda Delorraine Mandamin, born May 27 1957 passed away at the age of 65 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, Ontario on August 4, 2022 with family by her side. Naawiikamigok was of the Ashaga clan and was part of the Midewin Lodge. 

Linda rejoins her loved ones; her parents Arnold Mandamin and Margaret Blackhawk, her siblings Delores Mandamin, Esther Lewis, Colleen Mandamin and Albert Mandamin Sr., her son Norman Jr. her grandson Skyler Mandamin. 

She dedicated most of her life taking care of others in various roles as a Personal Support Worker, a Childcare Worker and provided Homecare to those in need. She loved being outdoors, camping and cooking her meals over a wood fire, she enjoyed nature and loved fishing on the lake. She travelled to many places casino’ing. She loved to spend time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her brother Eric (Sharon) Mandamin; children Charlene (Randy) Councillor, Jamie (Samara) Mandamin, Gena (Stephanie) Mandamin, Shauna (Suleman) Gado, Shaun Mandamin. Her grandchildren children, Tierra (Jesse), Summer (Davidson), Quiton L, Rhyse (Shae), Jayse (Danielle), Tyson, Aarro, Kellen, Quinton C, Princeton, Halle, Duran; Her great grandchildren Karmine, Baby Jamie and Nyjah. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, special friends and her lodge sisters and brothers. 

The family would like to thank the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, IIFN Health and Home Care Team, Chief and Council. 

Traditional Wake services will begin Monday at 10:00 am on August 8, 2022 at the Shoal Lake 39 Community Centre. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 and will be conducted by Ron Indian Mandamin.
