Boissevain pool closes for the season

There was a pool party at the Boissevain Swimming Pool on Sunday to mark the end of the season and the last day the aging pool will service the community.

The pool was built back in the mid 1960's and plans are in place for a new pool to be constructed at the same location.

Site work will be done this year with the bulk of the construction set to take place in 2023. Officials hope the new pool can open in August of next year.
