Melissa Roy, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
She was predeceased by her father Michael Justin Roy, her grandparents Thomas and Adeline Roy.
She is survived by her partner Basil Pahpasay, her mother Gina Roy, her children Mikyle, Raquel, Nyjah and Thomas Michael Roy, her siblings Brandon, hayden, Miranda, Dylan, Kylen and Maya Roy, aunts Anita (Jimmy), Lucy, Patricia, Karen and June, her godfather David “Omar” Cameron, cousins Tim (Roberta) Cameron, Shannon, Mary Ann, Samantha and Benji Cowley, Estelle, Joanna, Angela, Veronica, Darren and James Nash, Eric and Shawna Keast, Marilyn, Randy, Patrick, Jim and Jerry Sinclair, her best friend Melissa Cowley, as well as numerous other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Melissa loved and adored her children, they were the brightest part of her life and she treasured spending time with them on walks and taking them to the beach.
A visitation will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A wake service will begin on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at Animakee Wa Zhing Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:00am at Animakee Wa Zhing Community Hall with burial to follow.
