The Toronto Blue Jays wrap up a four-game series with the Orioles in Baltimore today. After winning both games of a doubleheader Monday, the Jays were beaten 9-6 last night.
Toronto sends ace Alek Manoah to the mound against Baltimore's Dean Kremer. The Orioles trail the Jays by three-and-a-half games for the A-L's final wild-card spot. The two teams still have seven games remaining against each other.
The Montreal Canadiens and forward Kirby Dach have agreed on a four-year deal worth 13.45 million dollars.
The Habs acquired Dach from the Chicago Blackhawks at the NHL Entry Draft in July in exchange for a first-round pick and a third-round selection. Dach, the third overall pick in the 2019 draft, had 26 points in 70 games with the Blackhawks last season.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are saying goodbye to controversial defensive lineman Garrett Marino. The Riders released Marino last night, two days after he levelled Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros in the Blue Bombers' 20-18 win over Saskatchewan.
Earlier this season, Marino was suspended four games following a dangerous hit on Ottawa Redblacks quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.
