Delford passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his residence in Onigaming First Nation.

He was born in Emo, Ontario and was raised and lived his life in Onigaming First Nation.

He was predeceased by his parents Delford and Dolly Bob, gramma Katoke, grandpa’s James Leonard and Jim Bob, uncles Jack Cowley, Clifford and Jerry Bob, aunt Anne Bob, cousins Tate, Seyla Margaret Angel, Nia, Arizona and Sasha.

He is survived by his sister Janet Bob (Neil Herbert), nephews Jonathon Bob, Jared Herbert, nieces Janelle Herbert, Jaylene Herbert and Samara Bob, uncles James Bob, Robert Bob and aunts Roseanne Cowley, Leona McGinnis and numerous cousins.

He enjoyed going to pow wows and going out for Karoke.  He enjoyed helping the community with Ceremonies by watching sacred fires as a fire keeper.  He was very outgoing and got along with anyone he met.  He graduated from Baibombeh Adult Education program.  He also received a diploma from Nipising College.

Wake services will be held at the Sabaskong School Gymnasium beginning at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Sabaskong School Gymnasium with interment to follow.  Traditional wake and services will be conducted by Elder Tommy Councillor.

Pallbearers will Clayton Kelly, Scott Kelly, John Shebagegit, Andrew Letandter (lil Joe), Robert Copenace Jr. (Big Bob) and Jayden Bob.  Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Kelly Jr., Kirk Copenace, Damien Bob-Kelly, Salena Bob, John Big George and Bill Boucher.
