We are sad to announce that Sheri, age 59, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at her home. Sheri passed while was sitting on her deck, looking up at the stars after enjoying a beautiful day and evening with her husband who was her best friend and constant companion.
She was born March 29th, 1963 in Fort Frances to her loving parents Larry & Dianne (Judson) Strachan.
She married her husband Ward Orest Maryniuk February 27th, 1988 in Winnipeg and had their daughter Cori (Maryniuk) Miles shortly after.
Sheri loved her family and friends unconditionally with her whole heart always. She most enjoyed being on the lake with her husband Ward and whoever else was lucky enough to join them. At home she enjoyed sitting in "her spot" and planning for visits with her daughter and buying presents all year round for Christmas. Sheri was always the life of the party and anyone who met her just once never forgot her vibrant and captivating personality.
Sheri was the most caring & giving person, who enjoyed sharing her home, her life and her love with anyone and everyone.
She will be missed beyond words by all that knew her.
Sheri leaves behind a loving family who include her mother Diane Strachan, her husband Ward Maryniuk, her daughter Cori (Maryniuk) Miles, her grandchildren Balin and Sophia Miles, her son in-law Shane Miles, her brothers Jim and Glen Strachan along with so many others who will forever remember her beautiful gift of sharing her life, love and time with them.
