It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Al Steven Scott at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital at the age of 60.
Al Steven was predeceased by his only daughter he loved and adored very much Kristine Savoyard, brothers Ted King, Stuart Scott, Brian Joseph Kuz, parents Albert and Marie (Scott) Wagamese, grandparents Dick and Margaret (Land) Wagamese, Robert and Gertrude (Williams) Scott, nephew Russell Muckle, uncles Eddy, Paul, Percy, William and Pete Scott, aunties Victoria Scott, Edith Carpenter (Allan), cousins Willy Land, Roger and Ivan Bigblood, Grace Paishk, Archie Scott, Bernice Scott, Allan McDonald and many others too numerous to mention.
He is survived by his children Brent Savoyard, Dan Smith, Marlene Smith, Leonard Bluebird (Carrie), grandchildren Rielly, Shanna, Shannon, Aaliyah, Cole Mandamin, great grandchildren Alijah, Jake and Kali, sisters Edith (Jacob) Fisher, Terri Ann King (Michael), Anne-Marie Garrow, Melanie (Derek), Madeline (Shane), Michelle (Bryan), his only brother Brian, great auntie Harriet Bigblood, nieces Michelle and Joelle Muckle, Sarah Jacobson, Karen (Kyle) O‘Neil, nephews Jeff (Shauna) Jacobson, Bruce and John Fisher, aunties Barbara Ann and Maryanne Scott, cousins Marie Fontaine, Beverly Bigblood, Mary Jane (Daniel), Flora Scott, Shirley, Emily (Jason), Julia (Kevin) Howard Michaud, Gary Smith, Deanna Carpenter, Bertha (Joseph), Melanie (Adrian), Keith (Amy), Michael Scott, Belinda Bain and Franklin.
Al Steven loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren who he cherished. He loved to tell stories and was always there when he was needed to pick wii-kaa for the bush, he helped cutting wood, cutting grass for the Elderly who as hi to work at times, he will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Wake service will begin on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Whitedog Community Hall. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Whitedog Community Hall with burial to follow.
