It may not be the nicest weekend for it, but Kenora youth have a couple more days of fun at the Rotary Splash Park for the season.
The Rotary Splash Park will be shutting down for the season on Sunday, September 18, with staff beginning to winterize the park on Monday.
The city of Kenora thanks the public and the Kenora Rotary Club for their continued support of the splash park, and staff look forward to reopening in the spring of 2023.
The Splash Park opened in 2019 in Norman Park after years of fundraising from the Kenora Rotary Club and funding from the province. The service club took on the project that cost more than $500,000, as part of its 2020 centennial celebrations.
