Autumn is just one day away, but construction season is still in full swing and people driving through Winnipeg's downtown should be aware.
New barricades have gone up at Portage and Main, reducing westbound traffic approaching Main Street to one lane.
Other barricades also reduce traffic for eastbound Portage, and southbound Main.
The City of Winnipeg's Traffic Management Centre says that delays should be expected.
The TMC is recommending to use an alternate route if you are able to.
