Colts Earn Gold
The Swift Current Comp. Colts continued their strong start to the season in Saskatoon over the weekend finishing with another podium result.
Swift Current went perfect in the U of S Huskies Tournament round-robin action Friday downing Walter W. Brown, Weyburn, and St. Mary's B team.
The Colts then bested Humboldt and Aden Bowman.
Swift Current then beat Osler VCA in straight sets (25-20 and 26-24) to advance to the gold medal match.
In the finals, the Colts completed their perfect weekend knocking off Meadow Lake 25-20 and 25-22.
Swift Current will host their home tournament this weekend.
Ardens dominate in Weyburn
The Swift Current Comp. Ardens volleyball team recorded a perfect weekend at the Weyburn Invitational Tournament.
After going 4-0 in round-robin play - they beat Moose Jaw Central, Yorkton, and Weyburn in playoff action all in straight sets.
