The Kenora Cat Shelter has been volunteer run since 2003 and as Celynn Alcock prepares to retire, the shelter is looking for a new, permanent location.
The Cat Shelter hosts a number of fundraisers throughout the year and currently, you’re invited to visit their pawp-up shop located at 239 Second Street South.
The shop is open Wednesday to Friday from 11:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Purchase books, crafts and baked goods, with all proceeds going to the Kenora Cat Shelter.
On Saturday, October 8 they will be hosting a pie sale.
Donations of cat food, paper towel, cat treats and cash are always welcome. They can be dropped off at the Kenora Cat Shelter in the back lane of 146 Regina Avenue.
For information on adopting from the Kenora Cat Shelter visit www.thekenoracatshelter.com or call (807) 468-4648.
