U18 AAA Thistles season opening series against Cougars

The Kenora U18 AAA Thistles open the 2022-2023 hockey season with a pair of games at the Kenora Recreation Centre this weekend.

The season opener is Saturday, October 1, 2022, 7:30pm against the Southwest Cougars.  

Sunday, the Thistles host the Every Child Matters hockey game against the Cougars.  Fans are invited to wear orange to the game.

The afternoon will open with a drum ceremony and Kenora Thistles players will be wearing orange jerseys with a custom "T" logo designed by Justin Fobister. The jerseys will then be auctioned off during the game.

Admission to the games is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for youth and children under 10 get in free.
