Winnipeg Police are busy Sunday investigating the city's latest homicide.
At around 6:45 a.m., a bystander located an unresponsive male on the ground near Sherbrook Street and Cumberland Avenue. An ambulance was called, and the male was transported to the Health Sciences Centre.
At 7:56 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service was notified of a deceased adult male at the Health Sciences Centre with suspicious injuries.
His death has since been determined to be a homicide.
The Homicide Unit is investigating. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
