Faye Louise Skipper (Huffman)

June 30th, 1942- October 11th, 2022

On Tuesday, October 11th, Faye Louise Skipper, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 79.

Faye was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Raymond. She will be fondly remembered by her four daughters Laura, Carolyn (Doug), Patricia, and Robyn (Steven). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Dustin (Joleen), Courtney (Chad), Nolan (Erica), Brenden, Miranda (Austin), Javyn, Madison, Kenedi, Shenae, Raymond, Xylan, and Evan; great grandchildren: Zack, Cas, Scarlett, Ezra, and Roselynn. Faye was blessed to have her baby brother and best friend always there by her side. We will be eternally grateful for the love and support of Wayne, Doreen, Kyle, and Kendra.

Faye was born to Cecil and Rose Huffman in Truax, Saskatchewan. She was the second oldest of five children. When she was in her teens, she met the love of her life, Raymond. Soon after meeting, they got married and moved to the farm at Stony Beach where they raised their four daughters.

Faye was an active member of her community. She took part in fall suppers, 4-H Club, curling, and the Stony Beach Women’s Community Club. It was in this community that she and Raymond made long lasting relationships with many special friends.

The family of Faye would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Providence Place for the care you provided her until her passing.

A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday, October 18th at 1:00pm. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Faye’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan 2550 12 Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
