A 23-year-old Kenora resident who was wanted by police after an assault in Dryden has been captured in Sioux Lookout.
The Dryden OPP says on September 25, officers and Northwest EMS paramedics responded to a report of an assault at an unidentified location at 10:23 a.m., and found one individual with serious injuries.
Following their investigation, the OPP issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Brenden Fisher of Kenora. He was facing charges of aggravated assault, and robbery with a weapon.
On October 8, members of the Sioux Lookout OPP arrested Fisher in Sioux Lookout. He’s since been remanded into custody pending a Bail appearance.
The OPP thanks the public for their help throughout the investigation.
