Assiniboine Community College is launching its first-ever Alumni Survey.
The survey will summarize alumni needs and interests and provide Assiniboine’s Alumni Association with direction on where to focus efforts for future communication and event planning.
“The college has been in business for more than 60 years, and we have an alumni database of 50,000+,” said Lisa Huston, Alumni Relations Officer at Assiniboine Community College. “Finding effective ways to engage alumni is important to the college. This survey will help us chart the path forward knowing where Assiniboine alumni want to connect and how.”
Assiniboine’s Alumni Association, led by its Board of Directors, is an organization that creates, enhances and preserves the fellowship of graduates, staff and retirees through a variety of activities.
“Our board members and alumni volunteers coordinate initiatives that support the college’s vision of delivering exceptional learning experiences for its students,” says new Alumni Association President, Kevin Bailey. “We hope the survey’s results will help us in enhancing these efforts.”
“Our alumni is spread out across the province and even the country and they are important to the college, and we want to hear what they have to say,” said Lisa Huston.
The survey launched on October 7, conducted by an external vendor, with individual responses kept confidential. All participants will be automatically entered for a chance to win an iPad. To participate in the alumni survey, visit assiniboine.net/alumnisurvey.
