A fall supper is being held by Grace United Church this year, after a hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The supper takes place on Monday, October 24th. One difference this year is the venue size.

“We found ourselves just a little crowded and given the past COVID experiences, we thought we'd just stretch out a little bit more,” Turkey Supper Coordinator Nancy Smoliak said. “So, we have seating arranged for 160 at 5:00 and then 100 at 5:30 in the church basement and then another 160 upstairs at 6:00.”

The supper includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, gravy, coleslaw, and desserts.

“We really are excited and looking forward to actually having people come into the church again and share a meal,” Smoliak said. “I also want to thank all the people involved with the Grace United Church that so willingly volunteered their time, their energy, and their food, for helping us to boost the menu. It can't happen without them.”

Tickets must be purchased in advance and cost $20 for adults, $10 for children ages six and over, and free for children five and under. They can be purchased from the church office by calling 306-842-5131. The money raised goes back to the church.

Order tickets by Wednesday, October 19th to guarantee your spot.

The church does take e-transfers, so call ahead to book your spot, and your tickets will be held at the door for you at your seating time.

There are also takeout opportunities for anyone who is busy that evening.
