Jeannette Isabelle Hoffman (née Lang)
June 13, 1945 - October 13, 2022

It is with deepest sadness that the family of Jeannette Isabelle (née Lang) Hoffman announces that she passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Humboldt District Hospital, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Born June 13, 1945, to Adolph and Alice (née Loeffler) Lang in Humboldt, Jeannette grew up on the family farm. In her later teenage years, the family moved to Middle Lake, SK, where she finished high school. It was then that she met the love of her life, Donald Hoffman. Jeannette moved to Saskatoon, SK, and completed her secretarial course at Saskatoon Business College and entered the workforce. Jeannette and Don married on October 5, 1963, and they were blessed to celebrate their 59th Wedding Anniversary just a couple weeks ago! While they lived in the city, Jeannette and Don raised three beautiful children Collin, Owen, and Loris. After years of health issues Jeannette received a new beginning of life in 1997 when she had a liver transplant that changed her life forever! The highlight of her life was being able to babysit every one of her grandchildren as well as cheering them on at hockey, soccer, ball games, and dance competitions. After a few years, Jeannette and Don retired back to Middle Lake where she loved and looked forward to the weekends when all the grand babies and great-grand babies came to visit, so she could watch them grow and grow! Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by: her husband Donald; son Collin (Carmen) Hoffman and family, Nicole (Ryan) Eiler and children, Justin Wilson, Marleigh, and Hunter, Melissa (James) Koroll and daughter Shayla, Ashley (Jared) Wagner and children, Peyton and Ryley, Jordan (Nicole) Hoffman and daughter Harper; late son Owen Hoffman’s children, Colton (Brooke) Hoffman, Natalia Hoffman (Mitch Quesnel) and their children, Kashton and Oakley; daughter Loris (Kevin) Kosmynka and children, Craig (Callie Bosovich), Troy and Taylor; sister Arlene (Cliff) Wedewer and family; and in-laws: Sylvia (Konrad) Reutlinger, Shirley Schuler, Vivian Griffin and Clifford (Rosemarie) Hoffman. She was predeceased by: her son Owen Hoffman; her loving mother and father Alice and Adolph Lang; her sisters and their husbands Brenda (Doug) Wedewer and Sherry (Myles) Kalthoff; and brothers-in-law Ralph Schuler and Harold Griffin. Special thanks to Sylvia and Konrad Reutlinger and Aline Tetreault for the extra help so mom and dad could enjoy their precious time at the cabin this summer! The Funeral Mass was offered at Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Middle Lake, SK, on Monday October 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., celebrated by Fr. Benjamin Ezekwudo. Others taking part were: Taylor Kosmynka, cross bearer; Nicole Eiler and Melissa Koroll, scripture readers; Ashley Wagner, intentions; Natalia Hoffman and Brooke Hoffman, gift bearers; Kevin Kosmynka, eulogist; and Jeannette’s Grandchildren, memories. The Pallbearers were: Jordan Hoffman, Craig Kosmynka, Justin Wilson, Colton Hoffman, Troy Kosmynka and Brendan Kalthoff. Music ministry was provided by Rhonda Baker. Interment followed at the Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Cemetery in Middle Lake with the memorial luncheon held afterwards in the Middle Lake Multiplex.
