Seven more athletes and builders are now honoured in the Kenora Sports Hall of Fame.

The second Kenora Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held Saturday evening at Seven Generations Education Institute. Seven local athletes or builders were recognized for their accomplishments.

2022 Inductees:

Norann Dunbar – Builder - Curling

Edie Fisher – Athlete – Swimming/Cycling/Triathlon

Malcolm Fisher – Athlete – Karate

Kyle Koch – Athlete – Football

Debbie Novak – Builder – Figure Skating & Triple P.L.A.Y.

Dennis Olson (posthumously) – Athlete – Hockey

Andrea Ronnebeck – Builder – Curling

Guests were treated to guest speaker Cathy Gauthier, TSN curling commentator and 3-time Canadian women’s curling champion.

Chair of the Kenora Sports Hall of Fame, Larry Patrick and the organizing committee put on the event, which included a prime rib dinner, door prizes and silent auction items.
