After a brief illness, Len Cleland passed away on October 13, 2022 at The Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Len was born in Riding Mountain, MB on June 19, 1934 and was the eldest son of Harold and Isabel Cleland. Len grew up in Neepawa, MB.
In 1959 he moved to Kenora to open Frosted Foods and here he met his future wife Merle (Morton) on a blind date. Len said he wasn't blind. They were married October 28, 1967.
Len was predeceased by his parents, his brother Bob and sister Janet.
He is survived by his wife Merle and son Ken.
He enjoyed the Lake of the Woods and spent many happy times boating, water skiing, and fishing. After his wife was in a serious car accident, Len retired to look after her which he did very well.
Len has been cremated and there will be a private gathering of friends and family at a later date.
