In court sports action, the Beaver Brae Broncos are back home after a day in Fort Frances for NorWOSSA play.
The Senior Girls' basketball team won 25-22, while the Junior Girls' didn't fare so well as they lost theirs 48-15 to the Muskies. The Junior Boys' Volleyball team took it in three sets. The senior boys' lost a close one losing in 5.
The DHS Eagles are back after some tough sets against the Sioux Lookout Warriors. In Volleyball action, the Warriors won against both the Junior and Senior teams. In Basketball action, the Senior Girls dominated winning 50-9, while the Juniors lost 15-14.
The St. Thomas Aquinas NorWOSSA teams are on the road for a couple of days. They'll be in Rainy River for all 4 court sports teams, and then on to Atikokan tomorrow.
Over 300 students came together for Kenora Catholic’s 47th annual Cross Country Race. Macy Greaves, Jace Richards, Avase Tsevende, Charlie Orme, Myah Hughes and Will Carlyle all placed first in their respective divisions.
