It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Charles Anthony Patrick Joseph, a resident of Animakee’Wa Zhing #37, announce his sudden passing on October 11, 2022, at the age of 30 years.
Charles is survived by his son Tanner. His father Patrick (Maxine), brothers Damian, Aidan, sisters Tara (JD), and Janine (Kienan). Grandmother Mary Helen. Nieces Teagan, Tavia, Arya, nephews Caleb, Ryden, Ares, Lindahl, Atreyu, and Zaylen. Aunties Rosemarie, Elaine, Debbie, Nora, Tonya, and uncles Darren (Julie), Atto, Roman (bunny), Tam. Cousins, Curtis, William, Brendan, Dylan, Piersten, Riley, Aldo, Daniel Munroe, Jaryn, Ginette, Jessica, Amanda, Mary Rose Redsky and ReTalia. As well as numerous cousins too many to mention. We apologize if we missed anybody.
He was predeceased mother Linda Rose Munroe. Paternal Grandpa Johnny, Maternal grandparents Arthur and Mary Munroe. Uncle Melvin. Great grandmother Mae Joseph, Charles was born in Kenora Ontario on June 4, 1992. Charles was employed as a carpenter with Solid Construction, he loved playing hockey, baseball, basketball, golf, volleyball, fishing with his dad and son. outdoors activities, such as, ATVing, Skidooing, ice fishing, and he enjoyed hanging out with his buddies Calvin, CJ, Chikee, Pharoah, and James M.
Charles cherished his time spent with his son Tanner and loved his many nieces and nephews whom he considered as his own children. He loved joking around and had a wicked sense of humour. He loved making others laugh and is always smiling.
Funeral services will be held at the recreation complex at Animkii Drive, wake services will start on October 20, 2022 1:00 pm and traditional services will start on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 am and burial at the Joseph family cemetery in Naotkamegwanning. Elder Lawrence Henry will be officiating.
The family wishes to thank Animakee Wa Zhing #37, Rose Redsky, Shawendawsowin, KCA, AKRC, OPP, Toni, Janis, Crystal, Ken, and family members too numerous to mention, the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
The family asks that we celebrate the life of our beloved dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and great uncle as he starts his spiritual journey back home. Brian is now with all his beloved family members passed on before him, free of pain and suffering. Fly high until we meet again.
