Vera Kathleen Hannon (nee Munford) passed away on October 20, 2022 at The Meadows in Swift Current, Saskatchewan at the age of 95 years. Vera is survived by her loving family, son Douglas Hannon; son Clayton (Aline) Hannon, grandson Lane (Katy) Hannon, grandson Dustin (Charmayne) Hannon, great-grandchildren Barrett and Paisleigh, grandson Cole Hannon; son Wendell (Denise) Hannon, granddaughter Amberlea (Derek) Chabot, great-grandchildren Taeya and Jade, grandson Shane (Morgan) Hannon, great-grandchildren Brynlee, Kenzie and Emry, granddaughter Jenna (Matthew) Axten, great-grandchildren Kai and Isabelle; sister Wilma Dawson. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon Hannon (2013), sisters Mildred Thomson, Lauretta (Leslie) Shewan, Frances (Merv) Kelly and brother Elmer (June) Munford.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at the McCord Cemetery with Ruby Sayers officiating. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Vera’s memory can be given to the McCord Cemetery Box 62 McCord, SK S0H 2T0 and the McCord Community Hall Box 89 McCord, SK S0H 2T0.
