Two men have been arrested on drug-related charges following an investigation and execution of a search warrant Friday night at a motel in Winkler.
The investigation conducted by the Winkler Police Service, with assistance from the Morden Police Service, was carried out shortly before midnight on Friday with the help of the Regional Support Tactical Team.
Search warrants were executed at three separate guest rooms.
Six suspects were initially taken into custody, four of which were later released without charges.
A quantity of methamphetamine as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia was seized during the search of the rooms.
A 46-year-old male from Winkler will be charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking as well as with failing to comply with the conditions of an Undertaking.
A 50-year-old male from Winkler will be charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Both men were released on an Undertaking and have court dates set for January in Morden.
