The next edition of Portage la Prairie's City Council has been decided, and there will be some familiar faces at City Hall.
Preston Meier and Ryan Espey finished at the top of the leaderboard, the only two finishing with more than 2000 votes.
Terrie Porter, Faron Nicholls, Joe Masi and Colin Doyle finished in the other four spots.
For the Portage School Division, Gregg Waldvogel, Tracey Asham, Rhonda Mccutcheon, Shauna-Lei Leslie, and Donald Smoke were selected in Ward 1, the City of Portage.
Rounding out the board from the RM of Portage will be Penny Verwey, acclaimed in Ward 2, Yvette Cuthbert, acclaimed in Ward 3, Marie Helene Hoggarth, acclaimed in Ward 4 and Ward 5 will be represented by Dan Otsuji who beat out Justine Richardson.
