Janet Kirk
June 9, 1953 – October 27, 2022
With her family by her side Janet Leone Kirk (nee Page) passed away peacefully on October 27, 2022 at the age of 69.
She is survived by her father Ken Page, brother Rod (Kim) Page, children Mike Kirk and Cimmeron Kirk and nieces Danielle (Marc) Thibault and Randi Page. Also surviving are 5 great nieces and nephews Maddison, Locklynn, Monty, Wyatt and Graye, She was predeceased by her husband Doug Kirk and mother Margaret Page (nee Brown).
Born and raised in Kenora Jan enjoyed living in various cities across Canada over the years finally coming home to settle in Kenora.
Jan enjoyed gardening and got her green thumb while growing up in the family floral and greenhouse business. She loved Trout Lake and enjoyed fishing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and lots of laughs with her family and friends that she adored so much.
Special thanks to the medical staff of Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre and Lake of the Woods District Hospital and the outpouring of love and support from friends in her final days.
Celebration of Life will be held at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Cathy Giroux officiating.
