In loving memory of Lloyd Fredrick Redsky Jr. January 5, 1966 - October 25, 2022 Lloyd "Dad, Papa" Redsky, 56, of Shoal Lake, ON, Canada, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

In loving memory of our dearest dad and papa, Lloyd Redsky. Lloyd was born on January 5th, 1966 to Lloyd Redsky Sr. and Julia Redsky in Kenora. He will be sadly missed by his three children, Monique (Adrian), Melissa and Dwayne (Trina). His grandchildren Tyrin, Kylie, Shantae, Myla, Yasmine, Niibin, and baby Emerson, all whom he loved and adored dearly. Also his brothers Shaun (Elaine) and Derek (Priscilla, in loving memory of). And all of his relatives and friends. 

Lloyd was a kind, gentle and friendly person. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He made lots of friends from coast to coast. He had a love for music, and was an amazing guitarist, drummer and singer. In previous years, he loved to travel with his family to British Columbia, and always took memorable photographs of his family and their adventures. 

Lloyd loved fishing, all summer and all winter, he decorated his red ice tent with black and white stripes, to look like his favourite musician Eddie Van Halen’s guitar design. In his childhood days, he loved trapping and hunting his with dad and his brothers. Lloyd was also an enthusiastic sports fan. He loved hockey, his favourite teams were the Winnipeg Jets, LA Kings, and Boston Bruins. 

Lloyd was also a passionate video creator of sweet and also humourous videos, bringing joy and smiles to all his family and friends. Anyone who knew Lloyd knew that he was the most loving father and grandpa a family could ask for. 

Lloyd ‘dad’ will be forever loved and missed by his children, his cherished grandchildren, his siblings, many numerous family relatives, friends and colleagues. 

The family would like to extend their thank you to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, especially the Intensive Care Unit team. Special thanks to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for the funeral arrangements. 

Wake service to be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Shoal Lake #40 Community gym. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Shoal Lake #40 Community gym with interment to follow. With Pastor Frank Kowal officiating.
