Sandra Kathleen Lisik (nee Brown)

June 14, 1945 — November 5, 2022

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and friend.

Sandra was born to Eva & Ernie Brown of Mitchellton, Sk. Sandra grew up on the family farm until she finished her schooling and moved to B.C. While in B.C. she met her husband Greg and moved to Regina. They started their family there having 2 boys, Trent and Tracey. From there they moved to Moose Jaw and had their daughter Dawn. Sandra started her career at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital and then later the Dr Wigmore Hospital for over 40 years. It was there that she made numerous friends that stayed in contact even after her retirement.

Sandra enjoyed her sewing, baking and crafting but maybe not as much as she enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Sandra also loved her football games cheering on the Riders. She was a season ticket holder for many years.

She was the glue that held our family together. The kind one, the patient one, the level headed one and the one that did anything for us no matter what. She loved her family first and foremost.

Sandra was pre-deceased by her parents Ernie and Eva, husband Greg, son Trent, siblings Liz and Hazel, sister-in-law Diane and brothers-in-law Wilfred and Gerry. Niece Kim and nephew Alfred.

Sandra is survived by her son Tracey (Jessica), daughter Dawn, brother Percy and sister Bev. Her grandchildren Brook (Shelby) and Jesse, Amanda (Logan) and Courtney (Chaze), Stephen and Dawson. Her great grandchildren Trey, Logan, Hailey and Rosalie. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rest in Peace Mom, until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sandra at the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation Hall at 1396 3rd Ave NE on November 20, 2022 starting at 1:00pm, with interment at a later date.

In lieu flowers please consider donating to the Moose Jaw Humane Society. 1755 Stadacona St W Moose Jaw, SK S6H7K7.
