The Main St. Christmas Tree to be put up Tuesday

It's a sure sign that Christmas is coming when the Kenora Main Street Christmas Tree is put up.

The City of Kenora is advising motorists that they can expect delays tomorrow (November 15) as the tree is being transported by CJ Edwards and the O.P.P. from Shawna Crescent to the downtown core. 

The closure of Main Street South between Second Street South and Third Street South is also expected throughout the day as Synergy North and City Crews position the Main Street Christmas tree for the holiday season.

The 91st Annual Kenora Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will take place on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
