She belonged to a Pool League team named East West Connections where she had won many tournaments and league games skillfully.  She was a pool shark, she loved her bingos! She had many bingos friends from many bingo halls, too numerous to mention.   She was a board member of Anishnaabe Abinoojii Family Services where her heart poured into the work she was associated with. Also, an avid golfer and poker player, Arlene was not shy to rise to any challenge laid out for her, maintaining the highest level of integrity while still bringing out laughter from those around her.

She loved her golf especially her golf tournaments with her brother.  Always made every hockey game for her kids and grandkids and could hear her from one end of the rink cheering on Shoal Lake Flyers. She had an infectious smile that you can spot a mile away.

Arlene cared deeply about her family and her community, her work as Administrator for ONWA provided her with ample tools and resources to help the people of Shoal Lake #40 and she always did so in high spirits for 10 years.
