It is with heavy hearts that we share that Gail Morton had suddenly passed away November 12, 2022 at home with her loving husband by her side. She was so strong and determined to come home to be with her husband after being in hospital for weeks fighting a battle to keep breathing.

She was born in Kenora, Ontario September 4, 1952 to Gladys and Ed Bays. Married the love of her life September 14, 1974.

Gail was a kind, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful giving person who always put the needs of family before her own. She was passionate about animals all her life and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness to family and friends you would find her out riding or driving her horses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren or getting together for Happy Hour with her good friends!

She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Ed Bays, siblings Robert and Linda.

She is survived by her devoted husband Brian Morton, daughter Jennifer Wagenaar, son-in-law Russell Wagenaar and her grandchildren Kyle, Mya and Xavier that she deeply loved. She has also left behind her, brother Bruce Bays and Glen (Barb) Bays, brother-in-law Alan Morton, nieces and nephews Tina (Paul) Jackson, Tracy Romaniuk (Greg), Michelle Bouchard, Eric Bouchard, Christopher Daigle, Ryan Favreau, Jason (Dana) Favreau, Courtney (Marc-Alain) Danis, Shane Bays and Jordan Bays and all of their families.

Along with many special friends that were close like family.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring.

You will always be in our hearts and be deeply missed by everyone whose lives you have touched. We love you so much Gail!
