The 24th Annual Ice Candle Festival of Lights is coming up this holiday season and candles are now available for order!
Candles are $8.00 for pick-up, which includes the wax, or $10.00 to be placed and lit for you. You can also Adopt a Veteran's Grave. For $10.00 your ice candle is placed and lit at one of our World War I or World War II veterans' graves. $2.00 from the purchase of each ice candle is donated to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12 Kenora.
The deadline to order your ice candles for the Festival of Lights is Friday, December 2.
There is also an opportunity for you to order an ice candle and have it placed on the Festival of Lights Memory Wall in honour of a loved one who is not at the cemetery. Contact the Lake of the Woods Cemetery at 467-2067 for more information.

This celebration starts on Christmas Eve with a dedication ceremony and caroling, followed by lighting of the candles.
