Man shot to death in apartment

Police in Winnipeg are investigating yet another homicide after calls for shots fired in the West End early Saturday.

The Winnipeg Police Service says they received the report around 1:44 a.m. at an apartment block in the 500 block of Furby Street. Callers said they heard shots fired inside the building.

Upon arrival, officers located a severely injured adult male inside a suite and administered emergency medical care.

The male was transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
