Kirbi Delanie Paypompee

January 28, 1990 – December 1, 2022

Kirbi Paypompee, a resident of Dryden, Ontario passed away at her residence on December 1, 2022.

Kirbi was predeceased by her grandparents Tom Paypompee and Virginia Paul, great grandparents Steven and Florence Bird, Frank and Adeline Sandy, Isaac Paypompee, Ida Oshie, her brother Kiizhagonoong and cousin Lance Tom.

She is survived by her children Veda and Kash, parents Charlene (Allan) Morrison and Kirby (Marilyn) Paul, brothers Drayden and Chris, Dylan (Ashlynn) Pashe, Keston Paul and Nolan Paul, sister Kelby Medicine, sister-in-law Courtney Assin,  grandparents Francis Sandy and Theresa Bird, aunts Lee Ann, Jasmine and Janine, uncles Terence , Fred and Chuck Jr., as well as her nephews Etrius, Demitri and Dyami and cousins Ethan, Sierra, Shayla, Riley, Terrell, Lucian, Manitou, Kakatchi, Chanin, Andrea, Landon, Aliyah, Teesha, Trece, Brielle and Troy. 

Kirbi loves math, was creative and artistic, she received her grade 12 diploma at the Naotkamegwanning Alternative Ed., where she graduated with Honors and was the class valedictorian, she attended Seven Generations and completed the Office Administration Diploma Program.

She had an infectious laugh which will be missed by all who knew her. She loved fiercely and fought for her beliefs. 

Wake service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:00pm at Northwest Angle 33 Community Hall.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00am with Elder Francis Kavanaugh leading the ceremony with burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be Luke, Maverick, Chris, Brian and Chucky.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kajta, Megan, Brittney and Lee Ann.

The family would like to thank Bimose Tribal Council, KCA, WCWA, NWA33, Ruby and Monica Shebagegit, Dorothy Paypompee, Misty Blackhawk, Tracey White, Terena Blackhawk, Gwen Redsky, Tim Cameron, Netaawgonebiik Health Services and Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for all of the care and compassion shown to our family.
