It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Charlie Everson-Greene born on July 14, 1995 in Kenora, ON. She was an adored daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and auntie that will be forever loved by her family. Charlie lived in Thunder Bay, ON for the past several years and grew up in Kenora, Shoal Lake 39, Thunder Bay and Winnipeg.
Charlie was a beautiful young soul who loved to listen to music and hang out with family and friends. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. Charlie’s most favourite things were French fries, salt and vinegar anything and pickles! She loved all animals, especially dogs…Bosley was her very good chum.
Charlie is predeceased by her uncle Charlie after whom she is named, maternal grandfather Ron Everson, paternal grandparents Doris Greene and Fred Greene Sr., and aunties Julia Redsky and Hilda Major.
Charlie is survived by her parents, Lisa Everson and Carl Greene, and sister Caitlin Everson-Greene, whom she was very close with. She is also lovingly remembered by her other siblings Lindsay Parker, Ryan Parker, Wabanoonkwe Irick (Tre), Miigwaans Cameron (Albert), Jaret Greene (Elaine), and Micheal Cameron; her grandmother Kitty Everson; and her nieces and nephews Marcus Parker-Powassin, Elijah Parker-Powassin, Neil Parker-Powassin, Niigan Zhaa Daa Sunray, Jayden Hernandez, Janessa Hernandez, Jaylaynee Greene, and Sable Greene. Charlie leaves behind her aunties Susan Everson, Rena Smith (Joe), Ingrid Everson (Vince), Francine Lee, Bertha Homstrom, and Gloria Hyde; uncles Ron Everson (Lise), Eric Everson, Randy Everson, Fred Greene, Stewart Greene, and Bradley Greene. Charlie will also be greatly missed by her numerous cousins, friends and all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be her brothers Ryan Parker and Jaret Greene and her cousins Kane Smith, Jory Smith, Cody Skead, Cory Skead, Frank Everson and John Everson-Corriveau. Honourary pallbearer will be Nathaniel Green
A visitation for Charlie will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Kenora, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with interment to follow at Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
