Officers say they were alerted to a moose shot on the east side of Highway 105 in the vicinity of Snowshoe Dam, south of Red Lake, on December 14. Officers believe the moose was shot and retrieved from the area between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. that morning.
The ministry says they are looking to identify and speak with those responsible.
The Ministry reminds residents that they can report a natural resources violation through their TIPS line at 1-877-847-7667 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
