The OPP is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 35-year-old Kenora man in Ignace, after he was found near Canadian Pacific Railway tracks on December 19.
The Ignace OPP says officers responded to a report of a deceased pedestrian in the Osaquan Township near Ignace at 9:30 a.m. on December 19, with Northwest EMS paramedics.
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene. They have been identified as a 35-year-old male from Kenora. Their name has been withheld by police.
The OPP add that anyone with any information about the death should immediately contact them at 1-888-310-1122, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.crimestoppers.ca.
