Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Plumridge – a resident of Fort Frances, Ontario passed away at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Betty was born in Emo, Ontario on January 13, 1950.

She was predeceased by her husband Munroe who passed away on September 3, 2011.  Her and Munroe were married on September 9, 1972, Munroe was buried on their 39th Wedding Anniversary.

She is survived by on Kevin of Thunder Bay, Ontario, her nephew Mark Kepes and numerous nieces and nephews in Germany.

Betty enjoyed her two dogs Mitzi and Pepper (who predeceased her), she loved taking them for walks.  She also enjoyed bowling, going for coffee with her Tuesday Team,  going out on the lake fishing with Kevin, as well as blueberry picking.  Betty worked in the Kitchen at La Verendrye Hospital and the Met.  She was a member of C.W.L and R.C.L. and volunteered at Sister Kennedy.  She had a great passion for animals, gardening, bowling and enjoying the outdoors.

At Betty’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Renal Clinic would be greatly appreciated by the family.
